Hisao Inagaki's translation of the Larger Pure Land Sūtra, originally published through Nagata Bunshodo and then with the Numata Translation Project, has been proliferating on the web for some time, in a wide range of formats. Having had the need, due to a research project, to do some in-depth work with this sūtra, and having been unable to locate a reliable translation that was interleaved with the Chinese source, I took the opportunity to create an interleaved version, using the same basic XML format used in my translation of the Diamond Sūtra. I also added standard diacritics to the Sanskrit technical terms, which were missing from all of the web versions that I was able to locate.
