Compiled by Tao-hsüan: 1st year of Lin Te (麟德), T'ang dynasty (唐) (A.D. 664) in Hsi-ming Monastery (西明寺).1 T. Index vol. 18, p. 274c, notes that the identification of Chih-sheng as the compiler of the text, as in the Sung edition, is an error. Shih-shih (釋氏) of Hsi-ming Monastery in the Korean colophon is probably another name for Tao-hsüan.2
